In the Stavropol city of Mikhailovsk, as part of the all-Russian non-commercial action "Silent Echo of War", a memorial was unveiled dedicated to Soviet victorious soldiers who sacrificed their lives on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.

According to the representatives of Stavropol Territory Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, a memorial to Soviet soldiers and officers killed or missing during the Great Patriotic War was officially unveiled today in the city of Mikhailovsk.

The unveiling of the memorial is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the region from the Nazis. Stavropol's officials emphasized the impossibility of living without preserving the historical memory of the ancestors' exploits and victorious warriors.

The memorial is part of the all-Russian non-commercial action "The Silent Echo of War". It is a seven-meter-high marble chapel built in accordance with the architectural standards of Russian Orthodoxy. Similar memorials already exist in other Russian cities.
