Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze praised the level of Tbilisi-Baku relations. According to him, friendly relations have been established between the countries, enabling productive cooperation on any issue.
"I had a very friendly meeting with the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan. Overall, Azerbaijan is an exceptional friend of ours, and our governments have exceptionally friendly relations. Consequently, we foresee no difficulty in finding common ground on any issue," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
According to the PM, the subject of negotiations ultimately concerns the form in which transit from Azerbaijan through Georgian territory will proceed.
"We fully consider the acceptable interests of the Azerbaijani and Armenian sides," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
