Turkish Intelligence Chief holds talks with Hamas

Talks were held in Istanbul between the head of Turkish intelligence and a Hamas delegation. The parties discussed the second phase of the Gaza peace plan.

Turkish Intelligence Chief Ibrahim Kalın and senior Hamas members held talks in Istanbul. The central topic of the consultations was the implementation of the next phase of US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan, CNN Türk reports.

"During the meeting, the Hamas delegation stated that the ceasefire terms were being observed. It also informed about violations by Israel. Particular attention was paid to Türkiye’s active role as a guarantor in ensuring the ceasefire in Gaza,”
