169 pilgrims from Iran died in the crush in Mecca during the Hajj, the Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organisation said.
"The number of Iranian pilgrims who died in the crush in the Mina Valley is 169 people. 46 Iranian pilgrims have been wounded in the incident and 298 others are still missing,’’ RIA Novosti cited the deputy chief of the organisation, Hamid Mohammadi, as saying.
