The 7th Festival of Culture and Sports of the Caucasus Peoples will be held on September 24-25, the press service of the head of the republic and the government said.
The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, said that the event will be held at the highest organizational level.
"The Festival of Culture and Sports of the Caucasus Peoples was held in each of the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District, so we have to hold the event taking into account the experience of our colleagues from other regions," he said.
Yevkurov said that "any initiative is welcome, if it would benefit the festival".
The first Festival of Culture and Sports of the Caucasus Peoples was held in 2010. The first two festivals was held in Karachaevo-Cherkessia, in 2012 the festival was held in Kabardino-Balkaria, in 2013 - in the Stavropol Territory, in 2014 - in Chechnya, in 2015 - in Dagestan.
