817 international observers will arrive in Kazakhstan to monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections on March 20, a member of the Central Electoral Commission Marat Sarsembayev said.
"957 observers from international organizations, foreign countries, as well as representatives of foreign media are accredited, as well as one observer from a foreign country (a total of 103 observers) and one observer from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (a total of 76 people)," RIA News cited him as saying.
In addition, the Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry has accredited 140 foreign journalists from 29 countries to cover the elections.
