Morning prayers were held at the Central Jumah Mosque in Makachkala due to the feast of Eid al-Adha. It was attended by the head of the Republic of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, and the Dagestani Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Haji Abdulaev.
The imam of the mosque Haji Idris-Asadulaev congratulated the participants and all the Muslims of the republic. He also noted that the Russian and Dagestan authorities are doing everything necessary to ensure that the believers feel themselves comfortable, the press service of the head of Dagestan said.
