Albania has made the decision to open an embassy in the capital of Azerbaijan. The decision was made by the Council of Ministers of Albania.
The embassy will be located in Baku. The expenses for its opening will be covered by the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Last December, a meeting between the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Albania was held in Baku. Among other things Ilham Aliyev and Edi Rama discussed issues of cooperation and the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tirana.
