Famous Russian actor Alexander Mikhailov, who will mark his 75th birthday in two days, told Vestnik Kavkaza about his impressions of Azerbaijan. In 2014, he visited Baku for the premiere of the Bride for Rent comedy at the Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theater named after Samed Vurgun.
"Baku is an amazing city! I was astonished at its beauty," the artist said in the first place, adding that there was a great audience in Baku.
The famous actor expressed his joy in the fact that Russia and Azerbaijan have warm and friendly relations. “God bless us to maintain this relationship,” Alexander Mikhailov emphasized.
He also told about the Bride for Rent play, staged by him in Baku. “This is an American play, where I have one of the leading roles, a family drama about the eternal problem of fathers and children. It is very interesting to perform it, it is staged with good music and good scenography,” he said, noting that he continues touring with this play around the world - in November it will be shown in Germany.
