Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will hold talks with the Turkish leadership on the issue of migration and bilateral relations.
This morning he will meet with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I. Then the Prime Minister will leave for Ankara to hold talks with Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as to meet with leaders of parliamentary parties.
The main topic of the talks will be problems of refugees and migrants.
The Greek Prime Minister discussed his trip with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during a telephone conversation.
During the visit, Tsipras also plans to discuss security issues in connection with the terrorist attacks in Paris, RIA Novosti reports.
