75 trucks have gathered at the Verkhny Lars crossing post waiting for the opening of the Georgian Military Road.
The car queue at the Transcaucasian highway is shorter, the press service of the Russian Emergency Ministry's office in the republic said.
The Georgian Military Road was closed due to the threat of avalanches and heavy snow at 15:30 on January 19.
