Aly Totorkulov once again became the Head of the Russian Congress of Peoples of the Caucasus. The corresponding decision was unanimously made by the Presidium of Congress.
The organization intends to continue to implement consolidated activity, designed to develop inter-ethnic dialogue between the peoples of not only Caucasus, but the whole Russia, Totorkulov said.
"Today, the consolidation of Russian society before the challenges, which appear one by one due to modern political and economic situation in Russia and all over the world, is more important than ever. Whether those are events occurring in Syria, or the confrontation of East and West, the sanctions, the threat of terrorism, - before all of that, the society must unite, demonstrate civic cohesion," - TASS quoted him as saying.
