Amano meets with head of Supreme National Security Council of Iran
IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano has held talks with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani.
"IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano held talks in Tehran with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani, to accelerate the resolution of all outstanding issues related to Iran's nuclear program," IRNA reports.
Amano's visit to Tehran is being held in the framework of negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 on the nuclear agreement. Amano also plans to meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani today, TASS reports.
