Anastasia Salos: Azerbaijani gymnasts lucky to have AGF

Azerbaijani gymnasts are lucky to have the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, Belarusian gymnast Anastasia Salos said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after the qualification round with hoop and ball routines.

"It's my first time in Baku, and its great arena amazed me. Azerbaijani gymnasts are lucky that they can train in such an advanced arena. Not everyone has such great conditions," she explained.

In addition, Anastasia Salos noted the enchanting beauty of Baku city. "I did not have time to get to explore the city well, but I liked what I saw in Baku. We walked by the sea last night, and the city looked delightful at night-time illumination, there were lights everywhere, everything was shining so beautifully," the Belarusian gymnast said.

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is being at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on April 27-29.  Some 127 gymnasts from 26 countries are participating in the tournament. Depending on the results of the qualification, the winners of all-around and the participants of the finals in individual apparatus in both types of programs will be determined. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets.
