A rare in the Black Sea predatory fish, the angler or Lophius piscatorius was caught in Adjara, the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia reports.
The ministry specified that the angler could reach the shores of Georgia from the Mediterranean Sea.
”Due the fact that the deep layers of the Black Sea below the depth of 130 m saturated with hydrogen sulfide, the discovery of this fish in Georgia is a great scientific event," Interfax-Azerbaijan cites the message of the Ministry.
