Ankara establishes Syria safe zone

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said that the 145-kilometer-long, 30-kilometer-deep safe zone was established in northern Syria.

Akar added that Turkish authorities are in touch with their Russian counterparts as daily attacks by the terrorists in the region continue from the eastern and western regions, Daily Sabah reported.

On October 22, Turkey reached an agreement with Russia on a 10-point plan to force the YPG to withdraw from the planned terror-free zone.
