Armenia and Georgia hold defense and security talks

Delegations from Armenia and Georgia met in Yerevan for talks focused on security and defense collaboration.

 

The Armenian side was led by the Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Armenian Ministry of Defense. The Georgian delegation included the heads of the School for the Defence Institution Building School of the Georgian Ministry of Defense, as well as students of the strategic course for senior security specialists.

Discussions centered on current regional security issues, the ongoing process of military reforms in Armenia, and the future of bilateral defense relations. The discussion was held in an interactive format with a question-and-answer session.

The Georgian delegation also visited the National Defense Research University of Armenia, where they were briefed on its operations and explored potential opportunities for partnership between the educational institutions of the two countries.
