Armenia has issued commemorative stamps dedicated to the famous Soviet actor and poet Vladimir Vysotsky at the initiative of the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Volinkin.
50,000 stamps worth 350 drams each ($0.72) were printed in Canada. Author of the sketch Vahagn Mkrtchyan used a lithographic portrait of the actor made by the Latvian artist Alexander Shandurov, TASS reports.
