Armenia will open its embassy in Moldova. The respective draft presidential decree has been approved at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.
The opening of an embassy in Moldova will strengthen diplomatic ties between the two countries. At present, Armenia’s ambassador to Ukraine is concurrently appointed as Armenia’s ambassador to Moldova, News.am reports.
Deputy Armenian Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said that the permission to open an embassy in Moldova has been already received from Chisinau.
