Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan submitted an application for becoming a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).
According to him, this is due to the fact that the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, who is also the ruling RPA Chairman, invited him to become PM.
“Some may ask why we haven’t founded another party; this would not be justified. The RPA can become such a support also because the conservative ideology of the party is close to me," News.am cited him as saying.
