The Armenian Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens to leave Lebanon and avoid traveling to the country unless necessary.
"Expressing hope that peace and stability will be preserved in friendly Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia calls on the citizens of Armenia to temporarily refrain from visiting Lebanon, unless there is an urgent need for it," the statement reads.
At the same time, the ministry urged the Armenian citizens currently living in Lebanon to exercise maximum caution, avoid visiting the regions targeted in recent days and follow the official reports and warnings of the Lebanese authorities.
"In case of any problems due to the created situation, citizens of the Republic of Armenia can contact the Embassy of Armenia in Lebanon," the ministry added.
