Syrian government forces backed by Russian military aircraft attacked the position of the Syrian opposition forces in the Al Gab plain in Hama province in the west of the country, Reuters cited the head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdulrahman, as saying.
According to him, Syrian government forces used heavy surface-to-surface missile bombardments.
