Officers of the Armenia’s State Revenue Committee’s smuggling-prevention agency foiled two attempts of smuggling drugs and psychotropic substances to the country, the committee’s press office reported.
In particular, workers of HayPost examined a parcel from France addressed to an Armenian citizen and found 132 pills wrapped-up in used clothes, of which 92 were psychotropic substances.
Another case happened in the Ararat customs house – 1,320 pills, of which 360 were psychotropic substances and 960 drugs, were found in a car imported into Armenia from the United States, ARKA reported.
