Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are implementing a joint project to build a premium hotel on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, according to the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan.
A five-star hotel is currently under development with participation from Azerbaijani investors.
The Kyrgyz Investment Agency reported that the parties involved in the project note the high level of cooperation and expect to complete construction on schedule – the second quarter of 2026.
The partnership extends beyond infrastructure to staff development, with Kyrgyz personnel receiving international service training in Azerbaijan.
The 17.2-hectare complex will feature a seven-story building with over 120 rooms, complemented by a swimming pool, water park, hammam, bowling alley, bars, cafes, and a football pitch.
