The Lachin City Day is celebrated today in Azerbaijan.
On August 26, 2022, the Azerbaijani army has taken full control of the city of Lachin, as well as the villages of Zabukh and Sus.
On this day, Azerbaijan gained control of the city of Lachin, raising its flag there, as part of a broader agreement that also transferred control of the Lachin, Aghdam, and Kelbajar regions to Azerbaijan.
