Azerbaijan national football team have secured their first victory in the UEFA Nations League after beating the Faroe Islands 3:0 at the Torsvollur stadium in League D group 3 match.
The goals came from Richard Almeida in the 28th and 86th minutes and Dmitriy Nazarov in the 67th minute.
Azerbaijan now rank second with 5 points, behind Kosovo that have 7 points, AzerTAc reported.
Gurban Gurbanov`s side will next take on Malta in Baku on October 14.
