Azerbaijan plans to organize export mission to Japan

Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has received the Ambassador of Japan in Baku, Teruyuki Katori, the Azerbaijani economy ministry said.

The sides discussed the questions of expansion of bilateral cooperation. Azerbaijan would like to organize an export mission to Japan for holding bilateral meetings with Japanese businessmen. Azerbaijan sees potential of bipartite relationships in pharmaceuticals, industrial sector, and agriculture. Azerbaijan is also ready to sign an agreement  with Japan on promotion and protection of investments, abc.az reported.

Currently there are 25 companies with Japanese capital in Azerbaijan.
