Baku expresses its regret over the cooling of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Nejmeddin Sadikov, said at a meeting with the US defense attaché.
Sadikov noted that "although the US State Department pursues a policy of double standards toward Azerbaijan, we continue acting as a reliable partner of NATO and are performing our mission in Afghanistan successfully."
The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan expressed his hope that the officials of the State Department won’t re-attempt to prevent the implementation of plans for military cooperation, and that the military won’t be bewildered by the violation of the agreed and approved plans by politicians.
