Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov discussed the ways of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group. The meeting was held within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister and the mediators discussed the current status of the negotiating process, the action plan for the coming period, and the meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Mammadyarov stressed the importance of resolving the conflict in accordance with the UN Security Council resolutions and within the internationally recognized territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. He spoke about the need for the withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories, Trend reports.
