The EMERCOM of Russia in North Ossetia has announced that traffic on the Transcaucasian Highway is temporarily stopped.
"Due to heavy snowfall and the threat of avalanches, traffic of vehicles on the Transcaucasian Highway is prohibited in accordance with the recommendations of the North-Caucasian paramilitary service for weather influencing. The traffic of vehicles is temporarily stopped from the Buron North Portal of the Roksky Tunnel in both directions on March 5th 2016 at 0:30 am by special order,’’ RIA Novosti cites the message.
