Baku Metro moves to Baki Kart - new system of cashless fare, the company said.
The presentation of the cards and appropriate equipment is scheduled for August 6. The cards will go on sale on August 8, Trend reports.
The advantage of the new cards is that they can be used both in the metro and for travel by bus. Baki Kart terminals have been installed at Baku metro stations. The cost of the new card is two manats. The older cards can be returned and their value (two manats) will be credited to the balance of the new one.
