The Swiss Federal Council announced the cancellation of the sanctions against Iran.
"The Swiss sanctions on Iran will be removed simultaneously with the sanctions of the UN and the EU, as it was announced on October 21, 2015. The Federal Council has revised measures against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The new legislation comes into force on 17 January at 12:00," Gazeta.ru cited the statement as saying.
