Deputy Foreign Minister, special representative of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, and Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan have held telephone talks discussing relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and the prospects of talks on a settlement of the Syrian crisis.
"The sides discussed a range of issues of the Syrian settlement, the current situation in Yemen and the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
