Bolat Akchulakov has been appointed the director general of the Kazakh association of the oil, gas and energy sector organizations KAZENERGY.
Since September 2014 he has served as General Director of Almex Petrochemical. He has also served as the Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Managing Director of the 'Samruk-Kazyna' National Welfare Fund, member of the Board of Directors of 'KazMunayGas' , General Director of 'PSA', President of KazMunayGas, and Vice Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan.
