US, Georgia and the EU countries helped us to prevent attacks on the Olympic Games in Sochi. Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov made such a statement after the meeting with heads of security services, which took place in Yaroslavl.
‘‘At the time of preparations and holding of the Olympic Games we managed, together with our partners from many countries, especially France, Germany, Austria, the United States and Georgia to prevent a series of terrorist attacks on the Olympic facilities,’’ said the director of the FSB.
