The Brazilian national football team defeated Switzerland 1-0 in its group stage match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Monday.
The match between the national squads between of Brazil and Switzerland was played at the over 44,000-seat capacity Stadium 974 in the city of Doha.
The only goal in the match between Brazil and Switzerland was scored by Brazil’s defensive midfielder Casemiro on the 83rd minute of the game, qualifying his team to the Round of Last 16.
The Brazilian team is currently in the top of its Group G with six points and they are followed by Switzerland (3 points), Cameroon and Serbia, with one point each.
