According to the exchange’s data, the WTI oil price has decreased by 6.8% to $36.61 per barrel, Tass reports.
The price for the Brent oil to be delivered in June 2016 decreased by 7% to $40.1 per barrel at the start of trading on the London Stock Exchange against the backdrop of agreements in Doha.
Oil producer states, which are members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as well as those states, which are not members of the organization, met on Sunday, April 17th in Doha in order to discuss the stabilization of oil prices, but the countries failed to reach the agreement.
