Today, the head of the oppositional Georgian party Democratic Movement - United Georgia, Nino Burjanadze, spoke about the outcome of a four-day trip to Moscow, assessing it as fruitful and positive.
“At all the meetings that I announced and held in Moscow, I found out that Russian politicians want to improve Georgian-Russian relations. For example, at all meetings I raised the issue of releasing Vazha Gaprindashvili and met not only human but also political understanding, and everyone noted that this person should be released, ”TASS quotes her as saying.
