Christine Lagarde: global economic growth to be disappointing in 2016

The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, believes that the global economic growth will be "uneven and disappointing" in the next year.

"All of that means global growth will be disappointing and uneven in 2016," Lagarde wrote in an article for German newspaper Handelsblatt.

"The financial sector in many countries still has weaknesses and in many emerging economies the financial risks are increasing," TASS cited her as saying.
