The specialized inter-district economic court of Almaty has liquidated the Communist Party of Kazakhstan (CPK) on August 3rd 2015, the Department of Registration Service and the organization of the legal services of the Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan announced.
As a result, eight political parties are now currently registered in Kazakhstan, only three of which – the Nur Otan Party, the Communist People's Party and the Ak Zhol Party – are represented in the Majilis, Interfax reports.
