Dagestan restores transport links to mountain village

"Dagestanavtodor" repaired a bridge that had been washed away by mudflows in the village of Dagbash.

It is clarified that road traffic to the mountainous settlement was restored this afternoon.

Earlier, it was reported that the mountain village of Dagbash, the Shamil district, had been completely cut off from the outside world due to the collapse of the bridge.

Heavy rains in the area washed away the bridge's support. After repeated mudflows, it was destroyed, causing the structure to collapse.

Dagestanavtodor also stated that they planned to upgrade part of the highway to the mountain village.
