Daughter of the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and a member of the Kazakh Senate, Dariga Nazarbayeva, said the rumors that she is going to succeed her father as the president are speculations.
“I see myself as a person who truly and faithfully serves to motherland, and as a member of our president’s team. This entire guessing is just a speculation,” Trend cited Nazarbayeva as saying.
Today, the Senate members voted to appoint Nazarbayeva as the chairman of the Senate Committee for Foreign Relations, Defense and Security.
