According to Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkey won’t stop giving shelter to refugees who seek safety on its territory.
"Turkey is holding its doors open to Syrians, Iraqis, Arabs, Kurds, Sunnis, Shiites, Muslims and Christians. And Turkey will continue to stick to this position,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
Davutoglu recalled that the United Nations noted the actions of Turkey, which had provided more than 2 million people who escaped from Syria and Iraq with asylum.
