De Mistura hopes results of Astana talks to be ready today

UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said that he hoped that the final document on Astana talks would be ready later in the day.

"I hope we can have today the conclusion of the talks," Sputnik cited de Mistura as saying.

The Syrian opposition’s delegation spokesman Osama Abu Zeid said earlier the consultations could continue on Wednesday.
