U.N. Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura said that he will arrive on Moscow on December 21.
"I will arrive on Thursday," RIA Novosti cited the diplomat as saying.
Earlier, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said that the trip of the U.N. Special Envoy for Syria to Russia could take place before the New Year.
