Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin dismissed David Sakvarelidze from the post of the Deputy Attorney General and the Prosecutor of the Odessa region, the assistant head of the supervisory authority, Vladislav Kutsenko, said.
Sakvarelidze's dismissal is due to violation of Prosecutor’s ethics and interference with another Prosecutor’s activity.
The first deputy prosecutor of the region, Oleg Zhuchenko, has become the acting prosecutor of the Odessa region.
