This morning the dollar exchange rate increased by 0.47 rubles and was worth 60.04 rubles, the euro rose 0.43 rubles and was worth 70.45 rubles at the Moscow Exchange.
The dollar rose above 60 rubles for the first time since July 26, 2017.
On July 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry released a statement suggesting that the United States would have to cut its diplomatic and technical staff by 755 people by September 1.
Moscow has also suspended from August 1 use by the US embassy in Russia the warehouses in Dorozhnaya Street and the property in Serebryany Bor.
