The EU has decided to allocate money to Turkey to solve the migration crisis. According to Reuters, all 28 countries have voted in Brussels for the financing of a special fund to support the refugees, including Italy, which previously blocked this decision.
According to the agreements that were reached during the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to Istanbul, Ankara can rely on the allocation of 3 billion euros of assistance. However, as Die Welt newspaper wrote, the Turkish authorities currently intend to get more money to fight the migration crisis. The publication reports that the Turkish authorities expect about 5 billion euros.
