The EU can provide Turkey a visa-free entry if Ankara accepts a number of conditions of Brussels, a diplomatic source in the Belgian capital said.
”The EU may allow a visa-free entry for Turkish citizens, but instead it demands that Turkey and Greece hold joint patrolling of the eastern part of the Aegean Sea, as well as the opening and management of six centers for the reception and registration of refugees in Turkey by the EU,” RIA Novosti cited the source as saying.
The source said that this topic is expected to be discussed by the heads of EU institutions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who started a two-day state visit to Belgium today.
