The conversation was held on the sidelines of the ceremony unveiling the bust of Nasimi at MGIMO in anticipation of the Nasimi Festival at the Institute of Asian and African Countries.
"These events in Moscow will be a good start to our work, and Nasimi's name is recognized by many these days. His poems can open many people's mind, and there will be more goodness, beauty and love in the world,” Leyla Aliyeva noted.
She also stressed the importance of holding these events at MGIMO and MSU. "This is very important. It is very pleasant to be at MGIMO, which have great energy and strength.
